Please recommend your doctor to me!
I am really frustrated and annoyed with the local one and want to change practices.
I'd prefer an awesome female doctor but if you know of an awesome male doctor I'm not too fussy.

Cheers :)

I am not on the shore, but I have heard really good things about the female Dr at Sunnynook Medical Centre (sorry dont know her surname - but her first name is Fiona).

Hehe, that's the place I'm fed up with!
Fiona McClean was absolutely awesome but sadly she has moved on.
Thanks though!

I go to the Glenfield Medical Centre on Glenfield Rd- my regular GP there (for both me and the kids) is Deborah Mitchell and she is great

Byron Medical in Byron Ave - Margaret (Margie) Bryant is fantastic. If she's not available, Zina Emmanuel at the same place is also good.

When I lived on the shore I went to the Apollo Medical Centre and had Catherine Truman, she was really great, friendly and thorough, she's reasonably young too. Im moving back to the shore and will go with her again. They also have lots of other female doctors there

Apollo medical is on the corner of Apollo Drive and Rosedale Road in Albany and they do after hours and a whole bunch of other services like dental, xrays, gym, lab tests on site. It's pretty cool

I can recommend the Glenfield medical centre too. We see Jane Seeley and Anna Catherwood, depending on when we go. Both are great.

I see Erica Lauder at Devonport Family Medicine and her (she was also my MW) but unfortunately she doesn't take any new patients any more.

But Michelle (unsure of her last name) is also great, and good with kids, as is the nurse Adele

Thanks so much for all the suggestions and recommendations!
So many to choose from now
Apollo is reasonably close to us, have been there for scans and blood tests before and my midwife spoke very highly of the gps there today too.
