are having a big sale on baby stuff. They have Huggies for $8.99 plus this morning I got some Johnsons breast pads for $4.99 and they're usually around $7 or $8 I think. PLus wipes and stuff on special as well.
Oh and if you buy one or more baby things on special you get to enter the draw for $600 worth of Countdown vouchers and $400 worth of Pumpkin Patch vouchers.
Oh and loving my Countdown coz they have parking right by the door for preg/new mums...

I loved the treasures pop up dispenser thing - not that we use wipes often at all, but i gave it a good clean out and now put all my "friends nappy bags" in there, cos i can then grab it quickly insteado f battling with the box, and it keeps their scented stuff in, lol, plus the kids can't get into it... of maybe they just haven't tried hard enough

Jax you will have to get some of those nappy bags they are really good.
I just had a look at my ones and it says on the box 'NEW IMPROVED OPENING FOR EASIER USE' yeah right. I think Ryan and Katelyn have more fun pulling them out then i do.

They're only small, and they're scented and they come in boxes of 50 or 100 (can't remember which) for about $2. I used to tie one to the change table and put all the days nappies and liners in it then chuck it at the end of the day. Coz it's scented it didn't smell. If they were real yucky I got rid of them tho...

The bin we have in Erin's room for nappies isn't huge, but maybe the bags wouldn't fit it... I'm still willing to give them a go though !

Another question from a first timer Mummy-becks, Roksana and Becca what size were your babies when they were born then to use NB naps for 4-6 weeks? I am trying to judge how many NB ones to stock up on as well and don't expect a small baby.

Erin is still in newborn nappies, but don't think she will be for much longer, we reckon by six weeks we will have to switch up to infant size - to contain all the carnage ! Oh, and she weighed 7lbs 11oz at birth.

Andrew was 8lb 4 born but lost almost a whole lb in the first 2 days due to major problems and no one believing me that he was yellow. He was also very long so his weight was all funny. He's 2 now and almost a metre tall (97cm).

Maya was just over 9lb and she only lasted 2 weeks in the newborn size. But she was quite long and never went below her birthweight - she was too much of a piggy!

i think jack was in NB size til he was 4mths. he was 5lb 12oz at birth. if you get too many of one size, you can always take them to a supermarket and change up, as long as the packet isn't opened, i did that a couple of times
