Jackson has a chest infection and has been given AntiBs for it. He also has a (sorry TMI) snotty nose and general grumpiness.

Anyways, can I give him paracetamol or Ibuprofen at the same time as the AB's? Or do I stagger them apart?

I give paracetamol and antibiotics straight after each other

They are all fine together - no interaction at all
I give nurofen three times a day and then paracetamol if my girl appears a little un settled and at bedtime for an extra boost providing she hasnt had paracetamol for more than 4 hours
Especially for the first 48 hours until the anitbiotics have kicked in and they are feeling better

When Jake had tonsilitis for the first 48 hours we were doing nurofen every 8 hours and pamol every 6 hours and his AB's had to be 30 minutes before food or and hour after so either before or after breakfast, lunch and dinner (depending on snacks and bf).

Thats exactly how the pain relief should be done! (sorry 10 years in pharmacy - but what melnel does it perfect) but the ABs may state with food so in that case straight after food - they cant all be taken on an empty tum
