Just wondering if you can recommend a good matress protector for single bed that is waterprrof.
The brolly sheets look great but they are expensive!
TIA

I got one from The Warehouse.. for about $12.. it's quilted with plastic underneath.. haven't had any issues with seepage thru to the mattress protector.

We had the Protect-A-Bed brand one for our bed that was toweling on top and plastic underneath, we found it over heated us, even in winter and made us sweat/perspire. I can't remember the brand but the sell them at Farmers and Big Save.
We use those old woolen blankets folded in half and it does the same job we've found, it doesn't leak through 2 layers. iygwim...

Payless plastic has something called 'hospital sheeting' its that plastic/rubber type sheeting that you can buy by the metre. We have a couple of metres of that cut lengthwise that fits across DD's bed with an old towel over the top then the bottom sheet.
