Just wondering what brand of pump do you have and is it manual or electric? What would you recommend.

I have an Avent Isis manual, but tried a Medela Swing Electric and found it so much better!! It mimics a babies sucking, so has a let down reflex etc.

I used a hand pump (Medela) for months. It was fine but required both hands which was a bit of a pain for pumping more than once/day. I got a Medela swing from a friend and it's great (pumping right now in fact). Very gentle on the nipple and has a start up that triggers your let down. To be honest though, it was faster with the manual pump.

Avent Isis Duo electric pump. It's amazing, you start manually pumping and then press a button and it does the rest for you. Only got it because a lady I knew got it but didnt work for her... costs something like $400 so I would have never bought it new!
