hiya

Does anyone have the Safe n sound Meridian AHR tilt & adjust car seat?

Its one of the many i'm considering but unsure about the bulky head support bit! Is it annoying for the baby/child? Do they get too hot?

Or i'm considering waiting for the sunshine kids radian one to come out in stores so I can have a look before deciding.

I don't have the tilt and adjust, but it doesn't look that much different to the original AHR which we have used for both our kids and absolutley love! The head support isn't bulky or annoying for the kids, in fact my daughter loved rocking her head back and forth between them to put herself to sleep     Besides then we upgraded her to the Recaro Young sport which has a massive head support to the point that it restricts vision out the window - and it still doesn't bother her

All the padding can get a bit hot in summer btw, but we just undress our kids appropriately when they are in the car. The bonus is that they are so snuggly and comfy in there   Also keep in mind that as they get bigger some of it comes out.

I have the safe n sound meridian AHR - I want to sell it if you are interested? Its in mint condition I would say near perfect and never been in a crash of course!
Its about 9 months old (DD was in a capsule then graduated to this) we paid $550 (I think) I would like $400 for it. Anyway just thought I would let you know incase you wanted to save some money on a new one.

thanks for the offer - but a shop down the road is selling that one for $399 too. Can I ask the reason for wanting to sell it?

wow thats so cheap! We got ours on special for $550 only 9 months ago.

Its an awesome car seat, but I'm going to keep DD rear facing for longer after so many ladies pointing me to youtube to watch the vids on RF v FF. DD will be too heavy in a few months to be in it RF any longer.
They are very very good seats, I am still weighing up if I should just keep it for the other car.

It was the version that was replaced with the tilt and adjust one. So if yours is the tilt and adjust one then it is worth more. The shop is just wanting to get rid of their last one.
