Hey all im Mummy22, husband here.

Introducing Michael Joab Baker.
Born at 10/08/06 06:54pm
Weight 7 pounds 5 ounces

After hours of painfull contractions i have a new son :) me and the wife were on our own after seeing the midwife only an hour before, i had put her into a bath with Alan just to try and sock some of her worryes away, got alan out dressed and about to eat my dinner when i here screeming comming from the direction of the bath... running to said location finding wife screeming that she was about to have the baby then and there. ahh crap.. midwife 20mins away... all help 10 - 15 mins away. 30 mins later we are all sitting on the bed still waiting for her to giveup the baby, midwife suggests maybe a go on the loo might help speed things up, hmmm ok so got to loo waters break, body gives up waste, i take a look to see how she is down there.. i yell out to the midwife that i have a head, lol she comes flying down the hallway and within a min we helped bring my son into the world on the loo... never through we would have it there but hey..
its lovely :) wife will tell you more later i expect :) good night all and god bless

I'm just impressed at Dad relaying the birth story!

Don't expect a birth story out of Willie when the twins arrive - I'll probably have t otext Maria and get her to let you guys know, Willie is PC illiterate!

OK so I have a few moment's of quiet both boy's are tucked up for the night and Hubby has gone to the supermarket in fact this is the first time in over a week I have had the house to myself. I thought I would jump on here and give you guy's an update on the family. Alan is doing well he has started to be intrested in Michael he was chatting away to him today very cute. Hubby is wonderful doing an amazing job (except he is useless during the night).
Michael is a wnoderful feeder.
As far as the birth goes it seem's so unreal at the moment funny thing is we had been joking with my BIL about a week ago about how baby could be born anywhere in the house including the toliet never really thought it would happen tho. I alway's said I would NEVER have a baby at home, but it all just seemed so natrual. It was just lovely getting up and using my own loo this morning and having a shower in my own home I must admit tho it is also very tempting to get up and start doing thing's round the house hubby has had to be pretty tough on me. I will come back a post the birth story when I get sometime with hubby so he can help me write it.
Take care all you wonderful ladies I love being able to come on here.
Her is a pic taken a 22 hour's old will post more later when I have time.

Hey Kelly I have jsut been posting the samethng on your post's. Ya it's so cool to have someone else the same day . As I said in your post's Blake is such a cute wee boy congrat's and well done. I love his name by the way it is cool.
Just a quick update we are doing really well we have had the best most amazing support from M/W and Mum not my Mum a lady who goes to our church that has taken me on as an adopted daughter My Mum and I have not got a good realationship so I not really want her around too much if at all to be honest and my MIL has passed (she would love our little man it so sad she not here to meet him) so ya for caring Mummy People that love to be Mum to anyone. Hubby has been wonderful despite having the flu still and having to go to work (no sick pay or holiday's left)
Michael is a great little feeder ever 3 hour's at the moment hopefully that will continue anyway talking about feeding must go and get him its feed time I don't even need to look at a click at the moment my boob's are telly me. Oh how I love bigger boob's pity they hurt so much.
Thankyou again for all your lovely comment's.
