DS has an injured soldier crawl (imagine a commando crawl dragging the left leg). He shows no sign of wanting to get his knees under him and lift his body off the floor.
Now he trying to stand (with limited success) again, all his push is in the right leg and the left gets taken along for the ride with the foot facing out.
He does wiggle, squiggle and kick with the left, and once standing he does seem to stand on the left, but it always seems to face out.
I was wondering if it was club foot, but that's facing in.
Is this common?
Should I be trying to correct it (move his foot to forward facing)?

No idea sorry, may be go to your GP if you are concerned?

You'd have to see someone to see how much of a problem it is. My neighbour was pigeon toed and had about 2-3 surgeries to try correct it.

is it turning from his ankle, knee or hip joint?
get the plunket nurse to have a look next time you see them...or the GP.
it could be nothing and hes just doing it his way, or it could be something more serious like a missed clicky hip/hip/knee problem that hurts him to put pressure on

Thanks. I think I'm going to try and get some video footage of it for the Dr. I just know he won't perform on cue.
