Does anyone have a budget that they use that they would be willing to share...obviously I know that everyone is different but I just need some ideas on where the money should be going and how much it costs to live in nz (we are in aussie).

Want to put a case forward to DH to have me be a stay at home mum til the babies (only one right now lol) are older so have to be able to say we can save this much towards our goals IYKWIM.

Anyway, if anyone has one that they might be willing to email me then please pm me :-)

I don't really have a budget formula you could use plus ours would be wrong for you as we are doing renovations/additions. However see if Citizens Advice have a website and one on there, and I think there is a budgeting advice bureau that may have something. Sorry don't have time to google now but can try tomorrow if you don't have any luck

I found the Wise Money budgetting tool really good. I went to the seminar but you can buy it on the website http://www.wisemoney.org.nz - www.wisemoney.org.nz . Using this tool meant that we were able to survive after buying a new house at auction and not selling the one we already had . HTH

I dont mind sending you mine, I'll just clear the $$ amounts off for you, but were in Aus too as you know so not sure if that helps. Its pretty basic but might give you an idea. I do it based on monthly as DH gets paid monthly (Im fortnightly but its easier to do it for monthly), will that work??
