Ok, so I have been looking through my photos of the last month and really there is not a lot to see. I have totally lost my motivation when it comes to taking photos, I know I have heaps already, thats probably an understatement, so really people were probably relieved I have been so quiet. Anyway I want to get back into taking photos again, I don't want to miss any more of those beautiful moments.
So my challenge is, for the month of July, to take (at least) a photo a day. This photo could be anything, what ever inspires you, your mood, or even just your children... finding the beauty in every day things. And maybe once a week, a friday we could do a Friday Five, where we have five specific things to capture on camera, your self, favourite thing etc...?? You dont need to be a fancy photographer with a fancy camera, they are just simple snap shots of life. And you never know you may be inspired by others, learn something new and discover the photographer in yourself. No one has to commit to the full 31 days although I know I am going to try my hardest to keep it up every day... We could set up a thread in the photo gallery or even a FB page... ?? So.. who's keen to join me...? -------------

Upload a photo each day but on Fridays we will have 5 more specific photos that you will have to take.
Sounds straight forward enough? If anyone wants a weekly theme for inspiration we could probably do that too... like say starting with 'winter' as I am sure we are all feeling that right now -------------

What a cool idea daizy! But of course you're always coming up with good ideas! I was just thinking today that I was out with my camera everyday for Ava's first few months, but have hardly used it recently, so took a few pics of her tonight. Also my photography of other things went out the window since I was pregnant last year, so this'll inspire me I think too! Wow, so many keen people.
Day 1 is almost over and there has been heaps of awesome photos on the FB page. For anyone who hasn't yet checked out the facebook page, be sure to read the discussion posts. At the moment it looks like the current theme is winter (although there are no rules, you can still post what ever you like). Tomorrow is the Friday Five so in the morning I will post 5 things to take photos of, you have the whole weekend to do it and these will be still be posted on the FB page along with the rest. -------------

Daizy, when you request to join, there isn't anywhere for people to actually say who they are... so I think you will need to make it that once everyone has been accepted they MUST put who they are on the discussion board. If they don't well they may be unjoined! (new word for today).
ETA: I just put a note in the info tab asking people to please let us know who they are... In theory there should be 64 posts telling us who everyone is... but there is only 35.. make sense? ------------- Mr Mellow (16) Miss Attitude (8) Destructa Kid (3)

Some friends of mine Ive noticed have joined ohbaby! fb group (not the addicts one but the other one) as they have seen it on my page and been curious or have seen a comp I have entered and become fans to do the same. But yeah i would be a bit suss if they had no mutual friends as there are a few of our kids -------------

I think I seem to have sussed who everyone is now. I hope you dont mind but I have invited a friend (not from OHBaby!) to join the group. She has been doing the photo a day thing on her own. She is a really nice person and I promise shes not dodgy!! Do let me know if you are uncomfortable with that though.... -------------

From what I can tell I think we are doing a theme a week, rather than each day. So I'm assuming our theme is still winter? I could have it wrong. I couldn't quite figure it out either. -------------
