Hi,
Any other ladies out there with GDM? I'm injecting myself 4 times a day as I did with bub no 2 and I've got this really itchy red lumpy bit where I inject. Anyone else had this? I'm seeing the nurse tomorrow, but was wondering in the meantime if anyone else has experienced this? I was fine with my last pregnancy injections.
I'm using a large surface area to inject so it's not always in the same place.
Also Novorapid seems to sting more than Protophane long acting, anyone else notice this?
Cheers

Definatly get the lump checked out and completely avoid injecting anywhere near this area. Ask the nurse about alternative injection sites.

Hmmm, I haven't had any issues with injection sites, I hope yours clears up quickly!

It took about 5 days but the lump has gone and it's less itchy, still injecting any where near it is a bit painful.

Thanks for your advice.
