TMI WARNING!

I've been at it since....maybe 8.30 last night? Last time, probably 20mins ago when I attempted some water. Probably 5 bouts all up, pretty severe. Down to bile, acids and sticky Phlem now. Gee my house stinks! And my poor stomach muscles...you get the drift.

Anyway will give m/w another half an hour and then page her. Its not on the 'reasons to send an emergency page' list but at the same time I've heard stories about it bringing on labour etc. Just wondering if I should be getting organised to go into Chch for a drip just in case, or do they normally wait for longer before they admit? We live in the whops so need to organise DD etc.

I think I'm 35wks, haven't checked the ticker recently

TIA

((hugs)) hun. I would be calling my mw too, it's her job adn if you're really worried then it's a good idea. I can't help as have only been in hopsital for vomiting early in pregnancy but then its when you can't keep anything down and are getting dehydrated I guess?

Good luck, poot thing!!!

I got a wicked tummy bug at 36 weeks pregnant and my friend caught it at the same time at 39 weeks and it didn't bring on labour with either of us! She was gutted

Def ring the MW but she may just do a quick check at home and monitor for a wee bit.

It has just gone through the family for us (last week) and for me it brought on some contractions but nothing sore or regular. I also got it at 39wks with my last pregnancy and it did put me into labour, i just chugged down the powerade until i could keep it down, which was about 2am and my son was born at 3pm at home.

Lol Bex...yup...time flies. Not fast enough at the moment!

Well I'm still at home, m/w didn't really care much, just told dh to keep my fluids up. Kinda hard when I just 'chuckem back up at him! But we've graduated from just managing wet lips, to small sips of L & P, to drinking powerade for the muscle cramps, so I guess she knew what she was talking about.

I had that earlier this PG and the docs weren't worried. They did give me a Stemetil jab cos I was crying for it They said the baby would be sucking everything out of me and would be fine; it was just me feeling like crap So long as I wasn't too dizzy and it hadn't been more than 24 hours, they were happy to leave me be. Hope you feel better soon - not what you need.
