Subject: 3 in 1 laundry hamper

Now I'm not sure if I've just imagined these or if I have infact seen them at some stage, but I'm wanting a laundry hamper with 3 different compartments iykwim. At the moment we have 3 separate hampers in our laundry (one for our clothes, one for Isla's stuff and one for towels) and it just looks messy and takes up room. So what I had in mind was like something maybe 900mm wide and split into 3 so I can separate the washing out and keep the laundry nice and tidy. I'm certain I saw something along these lines a few years back but back then, it was only me so I didn't need 3 different hampers!
Any help on this would be appreciated!

Yup or Plastic Box do them too! They are from memory about 300mm/30cm for each compartment and about 80cm high

Yay so I'm not going mad! Would prefer one that is wicker/cane (or whatever you call that stuff) with material lining as opposed to plastic so maybe B,B&B is the best place to try. thanks ladies!

I've definately seen them. The one I'm thinking of is a metal one with canvas.

Maybe it was in one of those catalogues that you get at home, can't remember what they are called, but the ones people drop off at your house and you order through them IYKWIM

The ones at Briscoes, Plastic Box etc are quite expensive, some $100+, well last I looked anyway.
I ended up getting one from The Warehouse and the 3 compartments are one on top of the other rather than next to each other

They are ontop of each other Linzy?? How does that work?? Are they like drawers or something? How much was it?

You mean we'd have to open up a drawer and then throw the washing in - instead of just popping your arm in the door and hoping for the best?

Sorry my brain wasn't functioning too well last night! How to explain it??? The three baskets are on a frame that hangs them vertically, there is a gap between the bottom of one basket and the top of the one below it. Does that make sense??. I think they were about $30 but the baskets/bags did break eventually so I ended up making my own calico ones

I have one and it is great. Problem is I got it from target in the USA. Sorry. It was $30 US. It is metal and canvas with wheels on the bottom. You must be able to get them here somewhere. If not try ebay.com. I hope I aren't breaking rules there. Not intended if I am.
