Hi ladies.
I'm currently pregnant with #1 and am just over 38 weeks through (the end is nigh!!). Can I ask, have any of you been this far through pregnancy and not experienced any leaking from your boobs? I'm worried about the fact that I can't get anything out, even in the shower as I really want to breastfeed and lots of the other ladies seem to have been leaking for a while now. Dont worry leaking during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding is not a gauge on whether you will be able to breastfeed or how much milk you have!
Some women leak, some dont! Its perfectly normal  -------------

I had the same worry as you. Not a drop before I had my daughter. My milk came in on day 4 and 1 week after that I was producing >1500ml (baby was in NICU so I was full time expressing initially). I had a small leak about 26 weeks and nothing after that until she was born and even that was an effort to express but now I leak 24/7.
My mum never leaked but she couldn't breast feed either as her milk never really came in... BUT! I asked my mw the same thing! Is it normal to not be leaking and she said definitely! It's not an indication at all of how breast feeding will go so don't worry! ------------- http://lilypie.com">

i havnt leaked at all this preg so far though if i squeeze just right, esp just after a hot shower i do get some colostrum -------------    CHEM 6/12+ |

I never leaked, had C Sections and my milk came in really well on day 3 both times (I had colostrum right away as soon as they latched though) ------------- |
