Not once but twice this week I have left the oven on. Willie is threatening to suspend my cooking priveleges. Last night wasn't so bad as he did the dishes so noticed I had left it on, but the night before it wasn't until about 9.30 when he went to make a cup of tea that he thought the kitchen felt extra warm and discovered why...

I am sooooo losing the plot. I think I should be locked up for my own safety - and the safety of my family!

Oh no, it gives you a fright aye. I put the tea towel in the oven once and left the casserole on the bench. Luckily hubby noticed before I set the house on fire

I wouldnt mind losing cooking privileges Emma, would love to in fact, but would end up with baked beans and eggs for tea every night! I think you're allowed to lose the plot too, you've got two bubbas in there stealing it all!!

LOL Emma... just tell Willie it's all his fault! He's the one taking credit for the twins after all, so it must be his fault that your baby-brain is twice as bad!

I must admit I could have fallen down dead with shock when he loaded the dishwasher last night...

I did that all the time late in pregnancy and when Joey was tiny (I mean leaving the oven on, not loading the dishwasher, hehehehehe) so scary, especially since we had a gas oven at the time aaargh

Hehe I lost the cooking priveleges tonight - but not on purpose! We had a power cut so it was pizza for dinner... at least I can't burn the house down dialing pizza. Although the candles were a bit more of a risk...

Yes, the candles are more of a risk than the oven.

Maybe you should do it more often just to get out of cooking
