Does anyone have any good tips for pain relief? I have quite a sharp pain in my shoulder which hurts more every time I breathe in. I think I slept on it bad a couple of nights ago and it is just getting worse from sleeping on my side, but I cant sleep on my back or my other shoulder all night. Panadol has done nothing for it and nor has a hot bath.

I would say a physio or massage.. I did something similiar with J and 2 sessions with a physio and it was fixed and I never had anymore problems!

:( i have to go to the doctor. physio is not sure it is muscular/skeletal. I only got 30mins sleep last night and nothing is working pain wise. Hopefully the doc has some magic cure as I cant last too much longer like this.

I thought codeine when pg was a no-no?
Call healthline and check with them. They're quite helpful. I remember Emma (Maya) having some shoulder pain at one stage and it was baby-related (but fixable).

That cream in the purple container is really nice with a massage. But I'd go to the physio if you can and see if that helps.

I have ended up using voltarin gel, the doctor said it was ok and better than taking the tablets. I have inflamed cartilage in my left chest which is causing all the pain.
