Hi Ladies,
I am just wanting to hear from anyone who has any experience with adoptiong in New Zealand. I am just wanting some guidance, advice & any success(or horror I suppose) stories you have. We have contatced CYFS and I am waiting for some info to be sent out etc, to be honest though, they don't seem very organsied so I was just wondering how others may have found the process. While I understand everyone has their opinions on adoption I am talking about standard adoption through an Adoption Agency within NZ, not family adoptions etc. TIA

Hey Parki,
I'm not sure if there is anyone who can give you info on this forum but there is heaps on the TradeMe message boards if you do a search on adoption. Good luck

My SIL and BIL adopted my neice while they were living with us and are still on the list to adopt more children, they almost had a boy but it fell thru at the last moment. My view on the process is obviously only 2nd hand but i'll give it if you want it?
