gargh i had a panini for lunch today and specifically asked what was in it,.. they listed the ingredients and it was fine, .. i got them to make me up a fresh one so i didnt eat one that had been sitiing around

i get halfway thorugh it and realise it has mayonnaise on it!

argh!! i cant stand places that sell food that are not careful like they should be, if you ask whats in it they should tell you what is actually in it!!

now i am petrified that i have eaten friggin bad things that i'm not meant to and something bad might happen :( how can you tell if something you have eaten has harmed your baby??

Yep they heat treat it if its bottled. It's only the freshly made stuff you get in some restaurants (and burger fuel) thats got untreated raw egg in.

Check at fancier cafe's & restaurants as they may make their own mayo/aoili etc

Hmmm might want to watch it though, I went to a cafe at the end of my pregnancy and there was mayo in the sammies and we thought it would be all good but it was fresh and the egg wasn't cooked in it. You could taste the egg too but nothing bad happened.

Umm if you are worried have a chat to your mw, but everything should be ok so long as it was super fresh! But I understand, what a PITA!
