Hi all. I get excema on my legs and arms, it comes up in a round circle like ringworm (its not), it doesnt itch, just looks horrible. My daughter is starting to get some dry spots on her arms and I think she has the same type. Does anyone else get it like this? and what are you causes (if known) and what is your best treatment. Thanks

My DD gets the type similar to yours aswell as every other "type" of excema. Hers is purely environmental as it only flares up coming into Spring/Summer and stays around till until Winter appears again. During Winter she has the most amazing soft skin, but the last few weeks its become bad again, all scaley, dry and shes back on antihistamine at night to stop the itching. I love Winter for the fact that my DD is not itchy!!
I have tried every single cream/lotion/potion under the sun, but the only creams that keep it under control are Glycerine 10% in Cetomacrogal which I use to keep her moisterurised and the other product I dont have at the moment (script is in at the pharmacy at the mo for some more) but its called something like Coltar. Both of these creams were prescribed by a specialist originally but now I just order the scripts through my doctor cause then its free
Hope that helps

Cooper had that when he was really little and we stopped using anything at all in the bath and no lotions etc and it went away. Now we use the eco store goats milk soap.
I think we might have started using probiotics around that time (the time it cleared) too so not sure if coincidence or it helped?

Lily has a big round red patch on her left should plus really dry skin. It gets worse depending on what I eat (BF) or she eats. I have a fatty cream to put on and moisturise her skin with after every change but tbh her skin is dry come next nappy change so might visit the doc about it.

Tyler has it on the back of one thigh. Not bad. Nothing for me to worry about

Oh remind me, Lily had it on her legs but that cleared up using the cream but the stuff on her chest/arms/back are taking forever!
