Probably a decent inch on the ground. Snowflakes the size of 20c pieces....

oh wow...I am with Sheza with the winds but hoping they dry the washing as DS2 was sick in bed last night.
I miss the snow, used to live in Invercargill when I was a kid...many yrs ago

Wee man has been out in the snow but has come in cos its cold out there.

Madness! Was such a gorgeous day in CHCH today so it's hard to believe their is such terrible weather elsewhere in the country! I'm from Gore originally and have a lot of family down there and they were all txting me today telling me about the snow! -------------
