How bad is parsley really? I've read heaps of different things on the web/ in books!
Just too much is harmful? don't eat any at all? some things on packets say 'herbs' and I'm like.. which ones?!
:(
Not that I really like parsley anyway tho haha

I am pretty sure it is meant to be avoided.

I was told that in small amounts (like what you'd use as a garnish) it is fine.
From what I understand it is the oil from parsley seeds that can cause problems and you'd need to eat a heap of parsley leaves to get any significant amount of the oil from them.

OK I am a little less stressed now, from what I have read / heard it is an abortifacient so should be avoided in first trimester, after that its less of a risk. I am at 35 weeks now so I figure it can't do much! And yes I think you'd have to eat heaps of it.

Does it bring on contractions and therefore should be avoided in early pregnancy - however won't it be a good thing towards the end (especially if you don't want bubs to come late)?

When I talk to transplant patients about low listeria diets we avoid parsley as it is difficult to clean the leaves and you can't guarentee it is clean. May be more to it with pregnancy but I teach the same diet and that's the reason behind it

Used in cooking and as a garnish is fine but you would have to eat - literally over a kg for it to be 'bad' during pregnancy.
