It's been a loong time of not having the time nor decent weather to wash and dry our cloth nappies for two... but now I have 1 toilet trained I only have 1 in nappies now yay! So back to cloth I go!!

I do need some more inserts though and will look to buy the material and make them myself. Has anyone got any recomendations for home made inserts for pocket style nappies?

Hi xXELAx,

You can buy the material at Greenbeans.co.nz, they have all the usual. And if you go to their odds and ends section you can often get end of runs really cheap.

I just make 30x30 squares. One layer of hemp and one microfibre and just overlock round the edge. Then you fold them into three. They dry really quick as its only two layers.

If you need thicker you could do three layers, I made some narrower boosters that I put in since I realised DS is a monster wee'er

Good luck
