Who has studied through these guys and how did you find it?

Can anyone tell me how their qualifications are seen in the outside world? Its not too relevant to what I am considering but would still be useful.

The good, The bad, and The ugly please

Did my degree through them, mainly because I could cross credit quite a bit from my diploma and because I was overseas for quite a bit of it and they were very easy to study with abroad. Plenty of people said that my degree wouldn't carry as much weight as had I done it with Massey which was the other option but I have not found that to be the case at all.

I found them easy to deal with, most of the tutors were fantastic and they are very flexible and understanding with timeframes etc.

The only negative is not having face to face contact with your tutors, but many courses did still have tutorial days throughout the country that you could go to.

Hope that helps.

I have done half my diploma in business through Open Polytech and for the most part have found them really great, communication is always there and everything always arrives on time, very high standard etc.

The only part I have found really hard is not having a tutor to bouce ideas, debate with and double check to understand things like you get in an actual classroom. Also Im quite lazy and motivation is hard for me, specially after a long day with DD, all I want to do is sit down and relax, not study!

On last paper now but going to look in to a batchelor of early childhood but will do this through an institution where I can go to class.

Thank you both, that is really helpful to hear
Correspondence study is my only choice so I need to find a provider that can really present their stuff well to extramural students. I've studied extramurally before and prefer it, so I'm not to concerned about motivation.

I'm thinking of doing a BEd in Early Childhood. I'm going to be working full time at a centre next year anyway so there will be plenty of teachers to bounce off. MIL owns the centre, so I'm sure helpful advice will be available 24/7 lol

I enrolled to do study this year but I found it too hard (I got it through flybuys so didn't waste any money as such).

I will do study again next year I think but will do it in a classroom

You're more motivated than me! I could never study unless I had someone face to face making me, I'm very unorganised like that
