What do you use to clean meat dishes and oven trays. We wash them after each use but they look absolutely disgusting right now.

I just did mine. Oven cleaner. Sprayed them all then took them outside with the hose and scrubbed with a lemon steelo pad. Nice and shiny now. I spray overnight and use I think Easy off oven cleaner. I gave up on mr muscle and use the red and purple ones now. They have a five minute cleaner and a fume free. I like the 5 minute one.   Hope that helps.

We also bought an apartment and I don't think the oven trays had ever been cleaned. Have done the above routine 3 times on them and I could probably go again and get some off. Thats the problem with apartments and small sinks. If you can't fit them in the sink they don't get clean.

I think I have heard you can soak them in the bath with an active washing powder. It was a uk program and they used biological powder and I don't know the equiv here.

I use tinfoil on mine, then all they need is a wipe down and a proper wash every now and then! or when they get dirty even with the tinfoil on them.

i always always use baking paper and wash after every use but they *still* get dirty and get really gross. i like the oven cleaner idea. but might try sard wonder soap first.

if anyone has any success with any of the above let me know.

also im making the change to silicone bakeware. have a silicone baking sheet which is awesome for baking, wish there was a silicone roasting dish and flat pan that wasnt floppy lol.

I wash mine every time too but they still get brown on the stainless steel type ones. The enamel ones are good with a quick wash after every use but the tin one just seems to brown up. That is the one that I used the oven cleaner and steelo pad on and it is bright and shiny now.

I use a stello and lots of washing liquid, I make sure I do it every time so that it doesnt build up and become impossible.
