There are worse things in the world but I am sad, just went to get Bubs safe n sound royale that we kept since T was a bub (still safe and well within dates of course) fitted in the car and we have lost the tether strap! I know, wah wah, but we have no spare money at the moment since im at the end of my maternity leave and I thought we had at least this sorted!
Cant decide if I should bother getting a replacement or just buy a new car seat. REALLY want a Radian and I will be having more bubs soon-ish...but that would mean I have to put in on the credit card til I go back to work.
Ok my whinging is over now. Thanks for reading :) Its nice weather so thats a positive!

If you have no spare money replacing the strap is a lot cheaper than getting a whole new seat

The Radian isn't cheap, but you do get more use out of it as your child can use it up to 36kg (RFing till 20.5kg). The carseat we had before was alright as it RF till 15kg but then only FF till 19kg then we'd need a new one anyway!

If you are looking at investing in a seat, I would consider the new Safe N Sound Platinum.. We will be getting this in the next few weeks for our DD, it has air cushions and 4 recline settings

the radian is well worth the money I have one for my nearly 3 year old who ist still rearfacing and will be getting one for my son when he outgrows his cosco rearfacing
kriss just a note that the new safe n sound is actually more expensive(least from the websites I have visited) than the raidan which rearfaces to 20kg comapred to 12kgs with safe n sound. and forward faces in a 5 point harness to 36kgs compared to 18kgs with the safe n sound

does anyone know if you can get parts of the harness replaced in carseats? we have one that we are looking at as a second carseat but it has some wear on the bit of the harness that goes up between the legs. if so where would you be able to get it replaced from?
