Hi guys,
I'm on the hunt for a great forward-facing car seat to move my little girl to when she's 10 months old. (Unfortunately our car is too small for rear-facing: the Brio, Radian and Evenflo just won't fit if her long-legged parents need to sit in front seats!!)
So forward facing it is... and I'm after some recommendations. Please tell me what you use and whether you rate it.
I'm happy to pay more for safety (though at $700 a pop the Recaro range is too much for us), and one that lasts right through for a tall girl would be ideal.
Thanks so much in advance!

I'm sure there are some girls here that know more than me and can help.
Is your daughter in a capsule at the moment?
I would be really hesitant to forward face at that age.
Have you thought about hiring a convertible ie a safe and sound which may be smaller, then when she is a bit older looking an extended rear facing carseat ie the brio, radian, evenflo. As when they are older you can have them more upright. So will give you more room in the car.
Good luck in your decision

If you can't rear face - the Radian still goes up to 36kg forward facing in a 5 point harness so still probably safer and longer usefulness than a lot of FF carseats out there?

Check out getting the Recaro Sport via the UK or US - MUCH cheaper, and if you arrange for them to send on slower freight (i.e. ship) the cost to send over here should not be too prohibitive... that Recaro seat looks awesome I want one badly! I'm short legged tho, so am going for the rear facing Sunshine Kids option!
