Everytime we go out with R and there is another kid within a 20m radius, they sniff him out like fresh bread (mmm fresh bread lol) its really cute and i dont mind, i want him to be used to other kids. i just find it interesting, they can pass 8 other babies, but will stop at R and touch his hair and hand him his toys and go get their parent/guardian who is with them and be like 'oh look! baby!'

its facsinating lol. and utterly adorable! i just think R loves the attention hehe

Mmm, fresh bread, nom nom nom

My kids just love babies, so if they see a friendly looking one, they will strike, lol. Maybe Riley looks really happy and friendly

I think it could be genetic. I used to always have peoples kids follow me round the supermarket! And now DS has the same attraction. Some of the kids are becoming quite good friends as we see them all the time at the pool!

Yep, have that happen with my wee man - just today at Farmers a little girl came running from halfway across the store to look and try to touch... her mum had quite the job pulling her away

Clodagh loves other babies although gets very concerned if they have dummies in their  mouths or hats on lol.

She herself attracts adults....all the time!!!  She is *so* her fathers daughter- can't walk past ANYONE without saying hello, hiya and waving....and then it's big, cheesy butter-wouldn't-melt grinning and 'bye byes' followed by more waving.  I'm so glad she isn't shy like I was but man, it's sometimes annoying when I think 'oh you're a little toe rag at home but take you out and everyone just adores you' hehe

Chelsea's the same as Clodagh lol, big grins at strangers and waves and goes up to them and says hello (and tries to scavange their food )

When she was smaller people would often peer in the pram and talk to her, and she loved it, little show off

DD loves strangers, big smiles and laughs alot. Other babies seem to love having her around, all the quiet ones at playgroup light up when they see her, and engage more with others when she is there. Bigger kids also want to say 'hello' when we are out shopping. She loves it, and im all for encouraging it, she doesnt need to be a social recluse like her mother! lol

My son has adhd and he can find (or they find him) another adhd kid a mile away. Put him in a room of 100 kids and he will bring one kid over who is just like him. It is uncanny. Like a radar.

Lol all the time this happens, we often get kids wandering off from their parents to follow us

We normally get little boys but little girls love playing with her hands and making her smile!

It's also how Lily got her first kiss
Little boy kept following us and then planted one right on her lips! His dad was like 'Oi! What are you doing!!'

K likes people too and they always likes them back. She gives everyone the biggest dimpled grin ever and then acts coy.

Little children just LOVE babies, they are always wanting to touch K and give her toys, and the older ones give her hugs and are happy to hold her.

MIL is a teacher and I go around after school on Thursdays when we go shopping. The kids adore her.

Gabrielle loves other kids. They follow us round the supermarket and try and make her laugh. She doesn't like adults much though, esp men. She cries if strange men look at her....

Yes, happens with us too - there is one little boy at mainly music who, every week, tries to sit on my knee to sit beside Cale - his mum gets rather embarrassed but I think its cute.

He's so smiley in relaxed in nature I find people just gravitate to him.

LOL Alia is like this too. Both kids & adults. When we went on a trip around the south island she waved & smiled to everyone! Some people are quite rude though in ignoring her, what is the harm in a smile???
