Hi ladies, has anyone done acupunture during an IVF cycle? I am having my first IVF in Feb and have started thinking about acupunture. I have heard it can increase your chances, is this true?
I am in Auckland and was wondering if anyone can recommend someone good? Also when is it best to start having acupunture before IVF, is it best to have it a few months before or will a month before be ok?? Any advice greatly appreciated x ------------- Me 32, DH 30 TTC 4+ years Unexplained Infertility IVF#1 - Chem Pregnancy,no frosties IVF#2 - BFP!!!! Plus 1 frostie

I am going to the accupunturist assoc with Fertility Assoc - it's called Naissance. I have just got back done and it is bliss! I have just got a BFP and I also got one from my third transfer (now my son) and did accupunture then as well. I think that there is something in it. thanks snooze, i asked fertility associates and they recommended Margaret Morris at Naissance to me, I think I will go with her, have emailed her for the details and will start in the new year

oh ok thanks, they suggested going to them 3 months before I start IVF, but it is quite expensive so would rather wait till closer to the time to start going. Hi Tiff8ny, I have been going to acupuncture for a year and love it.
According to my acupuncturist it is best to start a few months out or you won't get the same benefits. I go once a week, and then you go before transfer and after transfer. Good luck! ------------- http://lilypie.com">
