Hey Guys,

Anyone purchased a snug sheet? What did you think of it? DS currently stands and plays in his cot instead of going to sleep, is it worth investing in one of these or should I just sew his sleeping bag to the fitted sheet? (bit reluctant to mutate his Go Go Bag though! [:S})

BTW, I currently use a safe t sleep with a safety pin (so he can't undo the velcro). Problem is that he squirms to get out of it so badly that he actually gets tangled and in a real mess so it's not quite doing a good enough job anymore!

Hi,

I haven't used a snug sheet, but DS went through a similar phase at that age. I couldn't use the safe-t sleep anymore as he got too hot (it was summer). I found if I kept going in and laying him down without talking to him, it only took 3-5 days for the novelty to wear off.

Personally I wouldn't use one as its just one more thing to wean them off....says the mum who is currently trying to wean DS of his 3 dummy sleep association (1 in the mouth and 1 in each hand!!!

Hi

I really recommend the sungsheet. We used one from 9mths to about 1 1/2yrs with our girl. As she went into her 'big bed' at nine months.

She was easy to wean out of it. Just recommend NOT doing it when its cold as they do tend to kick off the sheets until they learn (took about a week)

Bub can sleep anyway they like including head at the foot of the bed lol.

Only complaint that I have is DD learnt to undo the zip quickly so had to use a safety pin.

Our boy will be using it to go straight into a 'big bed' in about a month. (he'll be 3 mths old then)

Hope that helps

Thanks for the comments angeldook! Turns out that I found one at Daisy Baby for even cheaper and bought it - have LOVED it! Keeps Jaxon nice and snug in one place and he's been sleeping so much better. Tonight is the first night in ages he's without it as it's in the wash and he's taken longer to get to sleep (although he didn't have much dinner so could be a combo of factors). Anyway, so glad I bought it and am thinking about taking the sides off the cot now too He'll be a big boy before I know it!
