Hi there. Just wondered if anyone could recommend any good fulltime childcare in Devonport? There doesn't seem to be anything available that's fulltime. I know that there's a Kindercare in Belmont but it would need to be within walking distance so that's a bit far out.

Here's a list of all the childcare places in Devo? http://devonportdirectory.co.nz/preschools.htm - Childcare I think all of them have good reps, it's just finding one which suits you best. Are you new to the area? I'm in Devo too, so just shout if you'd like to meet up  There's also a few of us mammas that meet at Narrowneck beach every Monday morning. Just a casual thing from 9am onwards

Sounds great! We don't move over until the New Year and unfortunately I'll be back at work then - but thanks for letting me know. Sounds great, especially now that Summer's upon us! 
I've called all of those on the list but nothing fulltime which is a bit strange. 
Ah well, will have to stick with Kindercare in the city. Just means ferrying there and back every morning to drop the li'l man off. Thanks!

Anything in Devoport usually has lonnnnnnng waiting lists too. The creche is an 18month wait

Before I fell pregnant we lived on King Edward Pde but when bubs came along we decided that we'd move closer to my parents. So now we're ready to make it on our own haha and looking for a 2-bdrm under $450, preferably central to the village and ferry. Thanks! :) |
