Completely understand you feeling like that. I was the same - the day I started feeling unwell at work (and was admitted to hospital that night) I said to my workmates that much as the babies needed to stay in I wouldn't be too upset if the decision was made that they needed to come early.

That said, NICU/SCBU is no fun so put your feet up and watch some tv, read some books, eat lots etc. This heat must be making things hard work for you!

Boo for your little monkeys turning! Have they given you a date for your c-section?

I remember being just the same I was monitored in hosp two nights before decided a c-section was needed I can remember moaning to nurses just wanting babies to come or me to go home just wanted it over with. I think most people are like that at the end of their pregnancy.

However I found being a mum to two noisy babies a rude shock! At points wishing I was pregnant again - so much easier! I don't feel like that now they are such fun. Sorry I can't remember if these were your first?

So rest up as much as possible you will need it and take the chance to do something with your other half even if you don't feel like it go out for dinner before the babies get here,

edit to add - good luck

Hi I'm 34 weeks with twins now and it's bloody uncomfortable and very tiring. You have done well to have been in paid work for so long. The sleep deprivation due to discomfort and toilet trips etc is way worse than for a single baby as well I reckon.

I have days where I feel sorry for myself but try to cheer myself up by being thankful the bubs are incubating in me rather than an incubator.

Good luck and looking forward to hearing all about your wee babies! Do you know what you're having?
