All I've done is removed much of the solid as I can and dabbed with water. I do this with most of my stains and the use the Cavelier bremworth vacumn clean stuff. But it doesn't remove it properly.

I'm on to the 3rd poo on carpet situation with DD. I just can't do nappy free time anymore cause she seems to feel the freeness and out it comes. Then she rolls in it.

Get a waterproof mat and put that down under her and then a cloth nappy or towel or something under her.

Really hot water works on the little poo stain we have had and we have very light carpet. And we use a microfibre insert (for cloth naps) to draw up all the water

There is a carpet cleaner you can buy at the supermarket - fairly cheap - think it is called dicksons something or other. You heavily dilute it in water and scrub it on. it lathers up then you wipe it off with a damp cloth.

Blankets & towels etc don't help if baby is mobile however tho. I for one aint a fan of chasing the baby around putting somthing under his bum everytime he moves.

Sprinkle salt on the stain then put hot water on then dab it up.

Yeah when she's rolling everywhere something under her isn't going to work. I am going to now snappy an prefold losely on her. Technically its not bare bum time but the poo is just gross. She managed to wee on the tilles and roll in it this afternoon.

Caide has done this a few times and we have used hot soapy water and sunlight soap - gets the smell out and seems to get the strain out too (if there is a mark)

Ring your insurance company!

We ended up with a big puddle of poo on our light coloured lounge carpet just before Christmas. I thought the carpet was completely ruined but a friend suggested I ring the insurance company to see if it was covered....it turns out it is. They sent out professional carpet cleaners who completely removed the stain and we didn't have to pay a cent. Apparently we would only have had to pay the excess if they had not been able to remove the stain and had had to replace the carpet.

Carpets are the best part to decorate the home but the cleaning of carpet is the most difficult task.. The Woolite is helpful to remove any type of stain from the carpet.. I tried it for my home http://www.nourisonhospitality.com/site-map/wool-carpet-manufacturer" rel="nofollow - Wool Carpet ..
