Does anyone have any ideas of the best way to fix the shade cover for my mountain buggy? there are 2 elastic loops on the bottom that you hook around little pegs by the foot plate but the elastic has stretched really badly so I have to wrap it round the peg which is a PITA. I agree with Clover, replacing the elastic would be easier than sewing the velcro. I really need to do the same with mine but it stays on most of the time even with the stretched elastic. ------------- Caroline, SAHM to 2 boys, S (4 years old) and J (2 years old)

Mine has the exact same problem. I just tied knots in the elastic so it fits how its meant to now. Far too lazy here, but I really should fix it properly with new elastic  ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">

By putting the velcro on I meant that it would join up in the middle instead of hooking around the pegs, but I suppose the elastic does work so I'll just do that in the meantime. DS however LOVES kicking his feet out at the bottom and stretching it, I get some pretty funny looks when he actually has his feet sticking out the bottom of the flap when we are walking down the road lol.
