ok so maybe this is the wrong place to put this, i dunno but i needed somehwere to vent, seriously before i went completely mental. Mike has rung me just before saying that he is not going to pay the deposit on our venue, which needs to be done this week.. was SUPPOSED to be done last week.. I ask him why and he goes "cos i think i'm gonna loose my job"
Turnsout he had given one of his workmates the benefit of the doubt, and was going to charge for all the parts he had ordered once they all turned up as some had not yet arrived, however, the workmate, had taken the parts that HAD turned up, without mike charging him for them..   Mike trusted his workamte and didn't even realise, and now his bosses are saying that it was classed as stealing and that Mik,e knew about it. And well, i can see how it would be thought so, but mike had no idea. I am just so worried, his bosses have not given him a straight answer yet as to what is going to happen.

I am just so angry... and yes, sounds petty, but really grumpy about the whole wedding situation..why does it all have to happen now, and why didn't we pay the damn deposit last week - we have the money there but i spose he doesn't want to use it in case it's needed to see us through, or in case he is afraid that he will loose his job and not be able to go ahead with the wedding as the deposit is non-refundable. ARGH! I knew it was too good to be true to finally have things going right for us for once, and am just hoping they give him a stern talking to and he just stays quiet and doesn't bite back. Even if he wants to leave after all this, i would rather him still have a job while he is looking for something else instead of us struggling in the meantime. Not only that, We have *managed* in the last few weeks to get by on 1 wage, and still pay the kids full daycare fees to keep their places open.. well, we haven't paid the full amount, as we had worked out account into credit so had a bit of leeway, however if he loses his job and is unemployed we will have to take the kids out of daycare and they will loose their places as we cannot afford $300 a week on just 1 wage. which means when he gets another job they would prob not get back into the same one as the waiting list is 2 yrs long.. once someone leaves it fills back up asap.

ARGH am so angry and so sad and feel like crap anyway as i have a cold.

Monday's suck.

That sucks! With a bit of luck his bosses are just letting him stew over it to "teach him a lesson" sort of thing and actually have no intention of putting him off. I hope that's the case anyways.

Oh man that sucks. Can you go back to bed NOW, tomorrow when you wake up everything will be fine.

Surely his bosses wont fire him over a honest mistake.

Oh Janine that really sucks. I hope his bosses realise its not worth losing a good employee over an honest mistake, and that everything works out for you. And unfortunately you always get bitten in the bum when you try and help others out.
