So, we've moved out to the country and I want to dig a vege garden. Trouble is I don't have the green thumbs in my family. Where do I start? What can I plant that will grow relatively quickly now to bolster my confidence?!?

Tomatoes, lettuce, zuchinni, beans are all really easy. Best thing would be to buy the plants as seedlings cause its late in the season. As it gets colder you can plant brasiccas- brocolli, cauliflower etc... You dont need to clear a big space, just enough for your plants, dig the soil down about 20cm and plant away. Water maybe every second day- depends on what soil you have, but if you dig down 5cm and its still damp wait another day. Good luck
