DD got the size small for xmas. Ahh well :)
Managed to talk mum into buying her a bigger one to grow into and she ended up getting her two  one of each lol. Not sure why we need both but i wont complain.

I saw them on there at 12 and was so tempted... but we don't have a lot of space indoors, or flat surface outdoors, and Jacob's a long way off walking yet (!) so I managed to resist. Hopefully whoever got the one I was going to buy is appreciative -------------

Has everyone else just got the email saying that they're not going to complete the order cause the WheelyBugs they were supplied with are fake 
I pretty certain that they have a legal obligation to provide the product that *they have accepted and taken payment* for. I know they're going to refund, but that's not the point gggggggrrrrrrrr

Milliemoo are you suggesting that they took your payment for a wheelybug and now you should get a wheelybug? The fact their bugs were fake is not your problem - 1day should have to go source some real wheelbugs and supply it at the price agreed on and already paid?
If thats what you're saying will be very interested if anyone knows about that, i am having an issue at the moment with another site but same problem. |

The key being *that they've taken payment for*. If you just order something and they don't charge you, then yes, the supplier can back out. But if they have taken the money from you, then they are legally obliged to provide the *genuine* product.
I may write to the Herald. Actually... lets all bombard the Herald with complaints about 1-Day

hmm dont think Consumer Guaruntees is the right act.
Just think of all the interest they would have received off everybody's $45 payment sitting in their business account for 5 days as well . . . ------------- |

I think it falls under the Fair Trade act.
I've sent an email complaint to the Commerce Commission: http://www.comcom.govt.nz/making-a-complaint/ - ComCom Complaint Form Still going to email the Herald to see if the story gets picked up

| I had a email rant to 1-day and now they're offering me a refund as well as a $50 store credit because I threatened them with the newspaper and commerce commission..... I have also found out through consumer.org that they did the exact same thing in december when they were allegedly selling ab circle pro..... I'm pretty sure they ARE worried about the commerce commission but the consumer advisor also told me that we, as customers have no stronghold at all in this case.... |

i didn't buy one, but just wanted to say that this also happened a while back when they sold those zhu zhu pets...that weren't the real thing.
i would steer clear I think.

Only just logged on and saw this post, but I visited the 1-day site that day and thought 'Gee, that's cheap...' - but before I even thought about purchasing one, they didn't specifically say where they were made (ie Mocka) or any indication of brand, and I instantly thought - doesn't look like the real deal to me. I've made a few purchases from them before, and have not had any problems, but it pays to read all the info thoroughly coz they often have 'lookalikes' at real good prices. I just wish I'd come here and shared with you guys what I thought before you all snapped them up. Hope you all get refunds/store credits from them. ------------- http://lilypie.com">
