Ok all you marrow stuffers out there...I tried my first one tonight and although it was quite yummy I could do with some tips please!  How much of the inside do you remove first?  How thick should the sides be?  And how long do you cook them for and what temp?  I think I put mine on 200 degrees (no idea why as I would normally do most things at 180!) and cooked them for about 30 mins.  I think they probably could have done with longer - I'm assuming you cook until the sides of the marrow are clear??

Also keen for stuffing ideas.  I used a recipe from a random website as a guide and filled mine with leftover rice, ham, tomatoes, some of the marrow, onion, garlic, olives, basil and beaten egg.  I think next time I would use less of the marrow and more of the other stuff but it was tasty enough to have another go at.

One more question...do you cut your marrow in half or do you just cut off the top of one side?  I cut mine in half without really thinking about it.

I did what you did, and i cut it in half that way.

I cooked mine on 180* in a dish wrapped with tinfoil for 45min and they came out soggy but cooked.
i would have liked them to be a little more crunchy and browned
