Hi ladies,
With DD I used pockets but found that BF poo always came out. This happened with disposables too.
Anyway, after doing some research, I think I would like to try fitted nappies with #2. I like the sound of OSFA/M and would love your recommendations.

I have found these that sound fantastic http://www.clothncraft.com.au/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=86_112&products_id=31 - LINK but they are very new so haven't found many reviews yet.

I very rarely had leaks (more in fact on the occasions I was using disposables!) and Alex has been in OSFA pockets since about 3 weeks old. He was a big baby though, with fat thighs, so maybe that helped?

Anyway, we used Happy Heinies, Nudey Rudey, some Trademe cheapies (Babyland and Mybaby) and I have one BumGenius. I got into itti bittis later and I love them.

I haven't heard of the link above but maybe someone else has?

Thanks Jafa, I am really keen to give fitted nappies a go this time, just for their amazing poosplosion holding abilities
Jody was big too, but *always* made a huge mess (usually while I was BFing her, charming ) I still have plenty of pockets left over just incase this one is not such a poo monster

I like my tots bots OSFA but I haven't had to deal with BF poop in it so can't say how it would stand with that.

I like the tots bots bamboozles OSFA, and we had some in a hire kit when she was really little that we used with YoYo nappy covers and they were great (I didn't like the tots bots covers much though).
I bought a bunch off trademe secondhand that we use in the daytime and as backup night nappies, but usually use YoYo bamboo night nappies (the bamboozles get totally soaked).
YoYo do lovely little newborn size fitted nappies but not OSFA unfortunately... I agree, I think it's a brilliant combination.

Pop in nappies are great. Rumparooz are also great as they have internal gussets to hold everything in!!

Thanks ladies, I will check those out. Gussets are so what I needed for #1!

hmm I was just thinking that bamboozles aren't OSFA at all, as they come in two and possibly three sizes. We are still using a size 1 at 6 months old though... although I don't think they'll fit for that much longer.

Haha, yes I got a bit confused when I was looking at them, looks like they have 2 sizes.
The great nappy hunt is on soon though so I will be checking out many many MANY nappy suppliers for the best in OSFA pooslosion containment systems

I'm going to talk to Jan. I reckon she should start doing a version of her bamboo night nappy as a OSFM. I'd buy 'em.
