This is your eviction notice. I promised your Mummies that you would arrive before the gremlins, and we are only just hanging in there so you lot better get a move on. It's much nicer out here than in there anyway. You've been told!

Me? I'm still fat, tired and grumpy, much as I was yesterday (and the day before, and the day before...). But every day is one day closer to having them, and on Monday I'll be able to relax and let them come when they're ready - atm I am desperately willing them to stay put, but there's an awful lot of pushing and shoving going on in there...
But I promised I wouldn't have them before the September babies - I just wasn't counting on those September babies being so stubborn!

From what I know anytime from 34-37 weeks. But Emma will probably know the correct times. they usually are out by 37 weeks as there is no more room.
Come on babies we want your mummies to be happy cos your out. And we want to see the pics of you beautiful babies.

Well Emma, I've read your email out aloud to the gigantabump...so we'll see if that works. I've got incredibly bad cramps at the moment, but I think that has more to do with wearing a really cool pair of summer wedges shopping this morning (rather than the flat preggy slippers) than anything baby related.

No way will the gremlins still be in there at 38 weeks - we're being induced at 36 weeks if they last that long. 38 weeks is full term for twins, but because mine are monochorionic (share a placenta) they like to have them out a little earlier as the placenta starts to struggle. The OB originally said 37 weeks, but he will be on leave then, so I got my way and he agreed to 36.
But with Sienna being engaged already, and the number and frequency of the BH I am having the m/w thinks I'll be lucky to see the end of next week.

I'm so excited for you Emma i can so remember how you are feeling. It's great fun and you will be fine, i'm sure Maya will be a big help and at times probably drive you insane, but thats all part of it i guess.
I had Ryan and Katelyn at 38 weeks 4 days they were a planned c-section because of a previous c-section. I think if i didn't have them then they would have stayed in there for much longer i don't think they were in any hurry to come out.
Good Luck to all the mummies to be

Well I had Thai Chicken Curry for lunch....indian curries for dinner (we got a mixed banquet thing) and nothing happened. My body is far too used to spicy food! The really disappointing thing was that they made the Vindaloo pretty mild!!
At least I had a really yummy dinner!!!
Right more walking today. At least I know that the end is in sight...I'll be induced this week.

they probably made it mild on purpose- that pregnant lady better not give birth in our restaraunt kinda thing. Who cleans THAT up?
|
Posted By: yummymummy
Date Posted: 24 September 2006 at 9:12am
Hehehe - true lizzle.
Paws, why don't you try a beef Vindaloo - extra hot - for a take-away dinner tonight? I also read somewhere that after a particular Jewish religious fast (that lasts 3 days or so) lots of babies are born premature due to the lack of food - guess its too late to try that as it will take a few days and you are getting induced this coming week.
Hope it all happens soon anyways!

Wow Kas you did really well getting to 38 weeks! My OB said only 20% of twins stay in there past 36 weeks, and with mono twins it's even less. YOu must have felt huge!

oh sorry ladies but it definately is not me....
I have been walking every day and the most I got out of it was a pulled butt muscle after a particularly energetic sprint down Milford beach.
Had a HOT butter chicken a few nights ago (this coming from the lady who usually orders mild, didnt even bother with the medium just went straight for the big guns - apart from the most wicked heart burn ever nothing...)So not a peep for me...
Finally resigning myself to the fact that I might be pregnant forever...got sick of depriving myself and went and had a big coffee at Starbucks, a grande mocha WITH ALL the caffine...take that baby! You wanna stay in there? - you better learn to like it cos your 40 weeks is up and I am having my regular coffee now damnit!
my mum was saying yesterday that my sister had to be induced...TWICE! And I just thought yeah well it sounds like maybe this little girl is trying to outdo her aunty...she better not grrrrrrr!!!!
What is with these September babies...? hasnt anybody told them September is almost finished...?

Come on September babies! All the August babies came early...
Yep, I made it to Monday, the m/w is back and the scan shows that the girls are around 2.3kg and 2.6kg so I think I am pretty much ready to relax and stop telling them to stay put. They can come any time they're ready...

man glad i wasnt laying bets on my feeling for sunday then...but i did get real tired and grumpy around 6pm so maybe that was it...LOL!!!
My auntys birthday was sept 29th a good day and she was a wonderful person and soooo funny and eccentric at times ( a good person to be if born on that day!)...so my next bet is for then...but am kinda hoping a friend of mine will have her bubs on that day - she convinced she is coming early (EDD 3 oct!) - we will see....
MAYA - the twins are well cooked but keep them in there for as long as poss to finish them off....cant wait to see their next photos tho to be honest...esp if they are cuties like their big sis...
