They most def do!! They leave tiny black spots that look like mould
I just keep putting them in the sun in the hope it'll fade like poo stains.
Otherwise I just try use dark bibs etc when he's eating banana.

I'll be watching too...

haha bowie I had no idea either was like 'what the.." when some of my 'good' white bibs came out of the wash all browm. Think apple or pear puree kinda left a pinky mark too.

To prevent stains now I either let them eat banana topless or never let it set I rinse in cold water straight away.

But once its set...its very difficult...

DD hates banana so im sweet! Otherwise I agree with Jules- either topless or YOU hold the banana and feed them (once bigger). Avocado leaves marks that take a while to go.

DD feeds herself and always have. Banana stains I try to remove as much banana as soon as it hits the clothes. It does leave horrible stains. I attack it asap with sunlight soap and really scrub and then wash it in the washing machine as normal and then in the sun but have to be careful as sometimes it ruins the colouring.

i called mum tonight and her tip was lemonjuice/lemon acid, leave it for 10-15min, rinse with cold water and then wash in cold rinse.so off to try that now and hopefully the stain disappears.
