So we are always using the safe t sleep when she has naps or down for the night, if i dont she just crawls around, stands up and bawls her eyes out because is tired but just not lying still. so i noticed yesterday that she can almost get it undone so i guess we should be looking at weaning her off it. so how do i do it?just bite the bullet and let her cry and crawl around until she falls asleep or any better way of doing it?
TIA

We loosened DD's for a while, so she could roll over but not stand up. Then eventually we just went cold turkey and took it away. Had no problems at all.

We pinned ours because DD wasn't ready or tucked a blanket in and around it and she could never work out how to unravel it.

When she did come out of it we would sometimes have issues and I would just sit next to the cot with my hand on her and she would usually drift off. It would take between 10-20 minutes though, but I didn't mind.
