Any one got one? How are they? I here they have been recalled in America. Any advice for a portable highchair?

There are quite a few around - I was going to buy a P&T Me to but when I saw it in the shop it looked rather metalic & uncomfie..

I did see one in the Baby Factory that has shoulder straps as well as the waist ones... good for holding them down!

They are great though as you don't need a tonne of space & can take them out to tea, other peoples houses etc. My sister has used them for her twins and they have been a lifesaver

I loved ours, and so did our daughter! A few downsides though (mostly for coffee shops) ...it really only fits on moderate to thin tables and because of the shape of the tightening/losening nobs it sometimes can't get close enough to the table to secure properly. But in saying that we got TONS of use out of ours and took it everywhere because it took up so much less space at a table than a normal high chair.

We have used ours heaps mostly when we go away but handy for use on picnic tables too (just fits most).
Really light and folds flat so easy to pack in luggage or packed up car. Used a towel rolled up when DS was a little too small for it as quite roomy.

We have the Phil & Ted Me Too & use it everyday rather than a regular high chair. DS loves being at the table with us (we do also have a normal high chair that we used for DD but haven't even bothered getting it out since we brought the Me Too). Only problem is I find that it doesn't wipe down as easy as a regular high chair & there is a small gap between it & the table which makes extra mess on the floor however i think they have a new portable high chair called a lobster which looks like it has a tray to overcome this.

We have ours permanently attached on the breakfast bar. DD loves it means she can be right there when we're cooking and she can watch what we're doing and "talk" to us as quite often we hang out in the kitchen as you do.

I have just bought a Phil and Teds Lobster... the next one up from the Me Too which seemed to be a bit more suitable for more types of tables and situations.

We had a normal highchair for my son but now we have two quite young kids and our table is very high up from the bench seats we ended up getting rid of that and now have two of these me too seats. My only letdown with them is that crack between the seat and the table. So much food goes down there. Otherwise they're fab.

Carnelian, I cut the corners off a plastic place mat so it slides in front of the chair and covers that gap. It worked really well at reducing the food falling down that gap and just sits in the bag with the folded up chair.
