I got DS a dumptruck that had a few megablocks that came with it and he seems to really like them. Would like to get some more but before investing $ in mega blocks and I wondering if it would be better to go with duplo.

Duplo is more expensive but a bit more of a challenge (ages 2-5) and has more of an interesting range. DS had mega blocks when he was smaller now he likes the intricacies of duplo and the cool trucks, people and animals. -------------

We have the first lot of mega blocks as they were easier for DD to manipulate. Now she is a bit bigger we are getting duplo as I have some from when I was a kid which looks as good as new. ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">

Her birthday is in November and I can't remember if she got them for her birthday or Christmas. She's now 19 months and still uses them and is just starting to try with the duplo that's at her grandparents. I'm thinking that we'll get her some duplo for her 2nd birthday/Christmas.
