Hello everyone

My name is Angii Im a first time mum to a 9 month old boy. We moved from the South Island where the chap was born to good ol Auckland and now live on the North Shore. Is there any other mums that live on the Shore on this board?

Great to meet everyone

Cheers Ang

How annoying! I also forgot to ask. If anyone knows of playgroups or walking groups etc in the area? or generally stuff to with other mums :)

Hi Angii! There are lots of ladies in Auckland but I'm not sure who is on North Shore. Welcome to Oh Baby anyway. I'm in Gisborne! If you find the thread called "let me introduce myself" and "where is everyone from?" you can get everyone's vital stats.

Hey Ang,
Welcome!
I think Jax and co are the North Shore kids to speak to. I'm pretty sure there is a thread around here somewhere about a coffee group on the shore.

Yeah there are quite a few on the shore, but 3 of them had babies last week so may be laying low for a while!

Mel - didn't realise you were a Shorebie as well ! Which bit are you in ? And welcome Ang, what part of the lovely North Shore have you and your family settled in ? There isn't a coffee group running as such, two of our other "shore girls" have *just* had bubs, so things are kinda on hold. I have an almost three month old girl though, and although I don't drink coffee anymore, am up for hot chocolates, walking - whatever ! (So feel free to PM me )

Jezsika- be sure to pop in for a cuppa next time you are on the shore.

We live in Wairau valley/Glenfield area.

Jax - I have included you in my new buddy list so I can PM you.

Apart from the Coffee/Hot Chocolate/Milo morning. A walk group sounds just perfect too!!
