Quick question, whats a 'safe' way to remove a #2 stain from DD's pocket nappy inners?? Dont want to use anything that will reduce absorbancy! I soaked them overnight in cold water, then washed them in warm wash with whats supposed to be a good stain removing soap powder, but no luck! I have Friend vanish spray, is that ok to use on inners without reducing absorbancy, or is there something else I can use??

SUNLIGHT! I know it's hard to find in the winter, but seriously sun gets stains out the best.

I second that. The sun is fantastic at getting out stains. I had an inner that I soaked for ages and washed a few times and the stain wouldn't budge. Someone told me about sunlight so I put it in the sun and the stain was gone in half an hour.

If they are pamol poo's then you will be super lucky if you can get them out, they are really bad at staying stuck in the fabric. Also lots of sunlight, even moonlight, frosts work too! Also try soaking them overnight in a bucket of hot water with rockin green, will do a strip wash and also lighten any stains you have.

Those UV rays which are so bad for the skin work wonderfully on stains :D

Even pamol stains will fade & go after time in the sun.

I'm having major stain issues with DD's naps lately. They are homemade naps (pocket?? Sorry, don't know the terminology, they have the little pocket at the back that the liner slots into) and it's the bit that goes against her skin that is staining. Never had a problem with them before, they clean up perfectly everytime, until recently. She's been pooping a bit lately (TMI but kinda squishy ones, not 'big girl poos') and the naps are getting really stained. I always scrub the poop off under hot water before putting them in the wash but even after washing, they are still stained. Think the colour of a spag bol stain, that's how they are going. I've been putting them in the sun as often as I can but the stains aren't budging. I'm doing nothing differently, and the machine is washing our clothes fine so no idea what could be causing it! HELP! (Was going to start new thread but figured this was close enough).

Has she been on Pamol? Try a overnight soak in Rockin Green then wash normally, that should budge them.

Nope, hasn't had Pamol. I don't like to give Pamol unless I really need to. Has been at least a month since she last had any. What is Rockin Green and where can I get some??
