Whilst I would love a Phil & Ted, Mountain Buggy or Baby City Jogger, the budget won't stretch that far.

Can anyone recommend OTHER brands and models of 3-wheel strollers that:
a) can be used for around the street/park walking;
b) will fit comfortably down the shopping aisle;
c)doesn't weigh a ton; and
d)is easy to fold up and put in a standard-sized car boot?

Does such a thing exist under $500 new?

Was going to suggest having a look on TM for something 2nd hand like a mountain buggy or P&T... You can get some really good deals.

I had a 'cheaper' stroller and I walk a lot and it just didn't cut it and ended up getting a P&T when DD was 5 weeks old!

I have a mothers choice babycino, i think it was $150 odd from farmers new, its alright. Does all the standard things, reclines, has a boot cover, lockable front wheel etc etc. I take it off road and running when i use it and it seems to be doing ok though tbh i mostly babywear so can't say its had heavy use.

My first pram was a bertini marine and it was great and fitted all those things. It was from farmers for $200 on sale

I got my P&T off TM for $200, it's an older model (but not too old) but was in perfect condition, with lots of accessories and I love it! If you want to spend up to $500 you can sometimes get the classic P&T for under that new... I had a Ario jogging stroller before my P&T, I bought it for half price at $240. It was great when my DD was small but got harder to push when she got bigger - she is 3 now and the P&T is still really easy to push her in.
