I never had my boy in smalls, I got onto the whole Itti thing when DS was about six weeks old and he went straight into mediums (and not on the smallest snap setting either!)... he was born 3.52kg but would have to look up what weight he was when he entered the 'Itti age'

Not long, perhaps four weeks? I can't really remember. But the kid is a heffalump. I'm hoping for a smaller one next time, so s/he can wear the stash of smalls I've bought.

My girl was 3.5kg at birth but got real mega chubby thighs so grew out of them by 4/5 weeks, they just got too tight around the legs.

DD wore her smalls until she was around 8 months. She out grew them in the length/rise.

Errr yes. Alex was 4.7kg and we never had smalls. We have mainly larges and tuttos because it can go to xl! He's over 14kg now (18 months)

My girls were tiny at birth (1.6 and 1.7kg) so the smalls were too big round the leg for ages but then they only ended up wearing them for a few weeks cos they were too low in the rise. They were out of them well before the suggested weight on the Itti website.
Next time I won't bother with the smalls (have sold them off already)

I wouldn't bother with smalls in Itti's - they seem so tight around the leg. I think we'll be getting large soon and she's only 15 weeks? So medium from the start....

My boy grew out of smalls at about 8/9 months I think.
He still fits the Meds comfortably & the larges are too big around his middle.
If you are unsure on the sizing, I'd go for a Tutto, then you can change when ever you please, probably cheaper in the long run too.

THis is interesting. My girl is 15 months and is still very much in a medium. SO I'm wondering is she would have fit smalls for ages. Maybe I should purchase some.

Rose is only just fitting her small. The mediums fit her much better and will last much longer.

I weighed her yesterday, 7.4 kg - but she doesn't seem really fat, just solid - so probably more like a 6month old. She fits 6 to 12 months clothing, but 3 to 6 as well still.
Is there much difference between medium and large?
