How do you get it in them?
DS is not a super pooper, he was a fortnightly man while b/f and appears to be a weekly man while on puree. My doc reckons he's fine and just has a slow system but said to make sure he does have water with his meals to prevent constipation. Easier said then done, right? He has a sippy cup and knows what to do with it - but he either has to suck to get water out (which he doesnt) or it freeflows and he just spits it out. I offered water in a bottle once and he laughed, he's never had a bottle in his life so didnt know what to do with it. I could syringe it into him of course but i was hoping there is a better way. Perhaps he is getting a teeny little bit when he drinks with the cup on freeflow and that is enough?
He hasnt pooped in like 5 days now! Its madness!

I just left a bottle laying around for Lily and she just did it on her own accord. TBH she drank jack all until I introduced a straw or straw cup... That got her interested! But they all say 9mo+... I gave her one about 7mo.

I used to give DD my pump bottle and she soon clicked on. Got her a sippy cup with a soft spout and she promptly chewed on it so it leaked everywhere.... She now has a straw one, or my drink bottle and im just introducing cups of water, she drinks the bath water with them.....

hah wriggles thats cute! Max sure knows what to do with a cup, he swiped my icechocolate of the cafe table today, had it grasped between two hands and rim in his mouth tilting it up before i decided the experiment had gone far enough and took it away so i might try him on a regular cup tonight. Also might leave him a bottle of water as he'll pick up and put his sippy cup in his mouth of his own accord so perhaps he'll get the idea with the bottle too. I really don't want him super constimated and doing rabbit poos!
