Has anyone got one of these buggys? http://www.babyfactory.co.nz/shop,product,97800.html - Xadventure Buggy
They are currently being sold at Baby Factory for $139. Their details doesn't say anything about being NZ compliant which I've emailed them about. And I wondered also if they fold down like an umbrella stroller would. Would love to hear from anyone that has one.
Thanks

So I just got this response from Baby Factory. Would you still go ahead if it wasn't technically NZ Compliant? I'm thinking for the length of time DS would be in it, it would be ok.

yes the X Adventure Active Lieback Stroller does fold like an umbrella stroller. The stroller meets the minimum Eu standards and also the voluntary NZ standards for strollers. Thanks.

a lot of baby factory items only meet the Eu code including car seats so i'd say its definitely safe, so if it meets your needs i'd say get one.
you will still be covered by consumer gaurantees act if anything is wrong with it

Ooooh thanks for posting this, i am seriously wanting to get rid of my monster stroller and get an umbrella one. And this is a funky pattern on the inside!

Well, DS has no complaints! It was bloody stiff to unlock and lock though to the point where i thought it'd gotten a broken one because i just could not click it into place. FINALLY got there but it took a heap of force and i was at the point where if it broke under pressure i was going to ring and yell. After a few uses it has eased up a little though thank goodness. Its easy to fold and unfold aside from the stiffness, comes with a plastic cover thing for rain, the hood is large and has hinges that lock to keep it taunt and in place. The back is easy to adjust and it came assembled bar 2x wheels which were easy to put on. Its quite tall too - i am 5'8 and it is a good pushing height for me, suprised as i thought i would be hunched over it. The basket underneath is a bit useless - small and a bit tricky to get into.

hi Bowie. Thanks for the review on the stroller. Am thinking it might be something I might need to try in person, as I am quite short, and if the handles are too high, it might be a bit uncomfortable for me.

I looked at these today but noticed it was a bit wider than the usual umbrella stroller.....nice and light though!
