I baked for Andrew. Do research on vegan baking. Lots and lots of ideas there.

Other things is fruit. That is basically all m kids get for snacks in between meal times. baking and fruit and soy yogurt/yogurt (depending on which kid)

and veggies cut up with sauces to dunk in. Pop corn, raisins, dried fruit make your own muesli bars.

I basically made almost everything so I can know exactly what goes in it.

My little girls is lactose intolerant - reacts quite badly to anything with even a hint of dairy, so her current snacks are: fruit, only organic rice cakes - the ones with apple in them, dairy and gluten free rusks, homemade bread - I make it without dairy, homemade dairy free cookies. Also pieces of leftover roast veggies. Hope that helps.

I do lots of baking too, just sub olivini or another df spread for butter and rice milk for cows milk pikelets freeze well and you can add mashed banana to them to give a bit more substance.

Also, rice crackers, nice biscuits, mother earth fruit bars, nature valley muesli bars (although some have almonds - not sure what sort of nuts yours is allergic to) corn thins & hummus, popcorn, fruit, dried fruit

We usually do rice crackers, apple, pear, banana, buckwheat crackers which are like cruskets, waffles/pancakes, just starting to introduce mandarin.

Have you tried the gold kiwifruit? It's less allergenic that the green.

Freedom foods do Tropico's which are cool for a snack. They are made in a nut free factory.

have you had a visit with the hospital dietican or peads consultant? I found the hospital dietician great for ideas/receipes, and lots of books from the library
